I don't think I'll ever be able to adequately express just how much happiness this man has brought to my life and how sad I am that he has left us.

He was a very handsome leading man in his younger day and was, of course, hugely entertaining from his career-making Bret Maverick onwards.

There has never been, and there will never be another quite like James Garner. I will miss him.

Seeing the news on the television "crawl" was like getting kicked in the gut. Even my husband, who usually treats this sort of news with an offhand manner, had to take a deep breath and leave the room.
