Congratulations to the University of Redlands

My alma mater, the University of Redlands, is celebrating its centennial.

The school has a beautiful float in the Rose Parade this morning, depicting the campus chapel and the university's bulldog mascot.

The UofR is a special place and the float was lovely to see.

As for today's Rose Bowl, Fight On, USC Trojans!!

That was a beautiful float! As I write this I am seeing it on TV now during the repeat telecast. Not bad coverage by KTLA. Michaela did a better job this year. Did you catch how Bob called her Stephanie once? Also some very interesting comments by Bob about his contract being up. He knows what can happen! And the float I helped to decorate, The City of Downey, won a trophy. It was more beautiful than I imagined it would be. Sorry I did not go back and take more pictures.

Here's to USC and Happy New Year.

Congrats to Downey's trophy! I'm about to start rerunning the parade on the DVR while I put away tree ornaments, and I'll watch for that one in particular since I missed it on the first run-through. (Must have gone by when I was making breakfast!)

Very interesting about Bob's contract!

Best Wishes and Happy New Year,
Laura

The Downey float is the last unit in the parade and Bob made the comments about his contract while it was going by.
