True Class
In his first press conference as President-Elect today, Senator Obama referred to himself as a "mutt" -- I'm sure multiracial families everywhere appreciate that terminology -- and also showed generous bipartisan spirit by taking a potshot at an elderly Republican First Lady who is recovering from a broken pelvis.
It's going to be a long four years...
Update: Senator Obama phoned Mrs. Reagan to apologize.
It's interesting to note that Obama's fascination with the trappings of office continues: what's with the Office of the President-Elect sign on the podium at his press conference, anyway?

Real classy. Thanks for sharing this Laura. I hadn't seen it and knowing the press, I wasn't meant to. I was so disgusted this morning when Matt Lauer went on and on about Sarah Palin in an obvious attempt to embarrass her. Apparently, turn about is not fair play.
