...and not June 8th. The London Underground is set to go on strike Tuesday. Service will not resume until Friday.Transport For London will add 100 buses to the system during the strike.
My sympathy to London commuters and those whose vacations will be disrupted.

There was a postal strike going in the UK when I lasted visited Europe...but we lucked out, it ended two days before we left the Netherlands for the UK. This was back in the days prior to email and cell phones.
