 ...News has been quite light during the run-up to the holiday weekend, so today's roundup will be shorter than usual!

...VCI Entertainment will be releasing Mary Pickford in THE PRIDE OF THE CLAN (1917) on Blu-ray December 15th.

...Glenn Erickson's latest CineSavant reviews include Humphrey Bogart in ALL THROUGH THE NIGHT (1942), now available on Blu-ray from the Warner Archive Collection.

...I've enjoyed multiple film books by David Meuel, including JOAN CRAWFORD IN FILM NOIR and THE NOIR WESTERN.  An older book of his I recently came across which looks interesting is WOMEN FILM EDITORS: UNSEEN ARTISTS OF AMERICAN CINEMA. It was published by McFarland.

...Disney's recent live-action remake of MOANA (2026), which I somewhat unexpectedly quite enjoyed, will be released on Blu-ray and DVD October 6, 2026.
