President Pledges Veto of Fairness Doctrine

Byron York reports that an administration official has announced "I...want you to know that the President would veto any legislation reinstating the Fairness Doctrine."

I wasn't confident what the President's position would be regarding the Fairness Doctrine, given that he signed McCain-Feingold into law, so this was good news indeed, especially as today Senate Democrats blocked an amendment which would have prevented the Fairness Doctrine's reinstatement.
