Patterico: The L.A. Times Year in Review

Patterico has published his annual "L.A. Times Dog Trainer," summarizing all of the paper's errors and obviously biased articles for the year.

Seeing all the stories rounded up in one place is really quite something.

If you want a good understanding of media bias and why the old media is struggling, this is the post to read. It's long -- which is a sad commentary on the paper, in and of itself -- but well worth the investment of time.

Hi Laura,
Thanks for this-I wasn't aware there was such a thing.
We'll be sure and root for your daughter's school this afternoon. Did you see the parade? It's my favorite-would love to see it in person. Happy New Year,
Holley

Hi Holley,

We never miss the parade! My son worked on the Rotary Club float with the wizard and lots of books which was near the end of the parade. I've only seen the parade in person once -- Gerald Ford was the grand marshal -- but would love to do it again one day.

Happy Football and Happy New Year!
Laura
