A Blessed Epiphany

Happy Three Kings Day!

London's Daily Telegraph has a fun article explaining the history behind the debate over whether Twelfth Night falls on January 5th or 6th. Epiphany, on the other hand, is most definitely January 6th.

The story is accompanied by a photo of the Christmas tree in Trafalgar Square coming down on Monday. My daughter was fortunate to be able to see the tree on a bus tour Sunday, and she's also seen some beautiful Christmas lights in London which are left up in that city until Twelfth Night or Epiphany. She also saw the tree which is noted in the article to still be standing at St. Paul's Cathedral.
