Phantom Madness

As I wrote last July, Andrew Lloyd Webber has a PHANTOM OF THE OPERA sequel in the works.

Unfortunately, the plot sounds absolutely awful -- and that's an understatement. It's almost as though the composer is trying to damage everyone's enjoyment of his original work by undoing it all in the sequel.

Further details are coming to light. Playbill rumors that Sierra Boggess, currently starring in THE LITTLE MERMAID, is likely to play Christine. Ramin Karimloo, London's Phantom, might star in the sequel.
