Coming to DVD: Island of Desire, Falcon Crest, and Miyazaki Films

Here's a quick peek at a few releases coming to DVD in the first few months of 2010...

ISLAND OF DESIRE, released in the UK as SATURDAY ISLAND, doesn't have a very good critical reputation, but the DVD cover is beautiful! It stars Linda Darnell and Tab Hunter.

It's out on January 26, 2010.






The first season of FALCON CREST comes to DVD on April 20, 2010.

The serial about a family of California winemakers stars Jane Wyman, Robert Foxworth, Lorenzo Lamas, and many more.






Two animated films by Hayao Miyazaki, PONYO and CASTLE IN THE SKY, will be released on DVD on March 2, 2010.

Each film will be a two-disc special edition.
