Laura, a HAPPY 4TH OF JULY to you and your family, because I believe you know and understand the true meaning of our celebration.
Also, I would like to celebrate and thank an ancestral forebear of mine and all others like him. He is Frederick Severs(1734-1804), who was a Bedford County, Pennsylvania Militiaman during our War for Independence. In 1796 with his new bride Caterina, they loaded up with their family and traveled to the Green River Valley of Kentucky in search of new land and a new life.
