Alan Colmes Leaving Hannity & Colmes
I can't say I'm sorry to read this news.
Colmes will continue at FNC as a liberal commentator.
Assuming the program continues in the same format, I'd like to see a liberal who doesn't reflexively repeat Democrat talking points take the chair.
Regular guest Kirsten Powers would be a good choice. Juan Williams is another possible option.
Powers is the top name listed at this poll at TV Newser.

I would second Kristen Powers nomination any day. Alan Colmes has become nothing but a left wing parrot of talking points lately and his stock rebuttle to anything seems to be "Well, what about when so and so on your side did it."
Seriously watching that show is exhausting. At least when Powers is on there is some intellectual honesty and forthrightness.
