GH Set Remodeled After Over 45 Years

An interesting little bit of TV news for anyone who's ever watched GENERAL HOSPITAL: the nurses' station set, which has been an integral part of the show since its 1963 debut, is going up in flames.

The hospital interior will have a completely new design, and the round nurses' station which has been the scene of countless conversations over the decades will be gone for good.

I haven't watched the show since the early '90s, but I have to admit to feeling a bit of a pang reading about this little slice of TV history passing into the sunset.
