Bebe Neuwirth in The Addams Family
This would be fun to see...Bebe Neuwirth is starring as Morticia in a new musical version of THE ADDAMS FAMILY.Nathan Lane costars as Gomez.
The show sounds like it might be fairly good. It's currently playing in Chicago, with an eventual destination of Broadway.
It amuses me to consider what Dr. Frasier Crane's reaction would be to "Lilith" playing the ghoulish Morticia...

The funny thing about this is that in the Wings episode that features Frasier and Lillian ("Planes, Trains and Visiting Cranes"), Joe Hackett (Tim Daly) calls Lillian "Morticia."
Now that you mention it, I suspect she might have been called that more than once! :)

I will be interested in seeing how the play goes. Have you seen any reviews of it yet?
There's a couple reviews hyperlinked in the middle of the post...they were generally positive, with some reservations.
Could be a fun show with that cast.

Odd, but Bebe has been out of the show at least since New Year's eve. My brother saw it that night, friends saw it on Saturday, and I saw it Sunday night. Bebe's understudy went on for all of these performances. By the way, the understudy (Rachel De Benedet)was quite good. The show was fun but they need a few modifications to the second act. That's probably why Jerry Zaks has been brought in to doctor the show before the Broadway opening.
