This year's classic film Valentine is Dianne Foster, whose starring roles included NIGHT PASSAGE (1957), THE BROTHERS RICO (1957), and THE DEEP SIX (1958).
Dianne married a dentist in 1961 and is now a widow. From time to time we happen to see her son, who followed in his father's footsteps and is an oral surgeon. At last report a few months ago she is doing great at age 90 and still gets fan mail!

My daughter watched The Last Hurrah for the first time a couple of weeks ago (I made her watch). Dianne Foster was certainly surrounded by a lot of great actors in that movie. Nice to see Canadian girls make good.

There are quite a few Canadian girls who have made good, including, but surely not limited to, Mary Pickford and Norma Shearer.

Caftan Woman, I still need to see THE LAST HURRAH myself. Definitely something I need to do sooner rather than later!
