Tonight's Movie in 2019: The Year in Review, Take Two

It's time once more for my annual video celebrating the previous year's viewing!

This video put together by my husband features posters from most of the 238 movies I watched last year. It runs just under four and a half minutes.

Click below to watch, or check it out directly at YouTube.

A couple of films I saw multiple times last year, so they are represented by multiple posters.

As usual, 2019 is already shaping up to be another wonderful movie viewing year!

Previously: The "year in review" videos for 2014, 2015, 2016, 2017, and 2018.

Another excellent montage of your annual movie viewing. Well done, both of you, on a fine job! On my first viewing I was unable to read some of the titles as they flew by so quickly, so for my future viewing I shall use my moviola (that's what I call the software that I use for editing movies on my computer and which enables watching videos frame by frame)...

WOW!
What a sensational year's viewing.
Funnily enough,I thought of you yesterday when I watched the wonderful new
Clint Eastwood picture RICHARD JEWELL. It was the moment when the FBI confiscate
Kathy Bates' Disney film collection....no kidding!! :)

Mel and John, thank you SO much for watching and for the lovely feedback! We both really appreciate it. :) Delighted you enjoy looking at the posters.

John, that is hilarious about that scene in RICHARD JEWELL. I've considered seeing it, especially as I'm watching more Eastwood films in the last year or so, but I've held back as I think I would feel so sad for the title character -- and, based on what you said, his mom! LOL.

Best wishes,
Laura

Hi Laura,

I think you will enjoy RICHARD JEWELL.
The whole cast is top notch but for me the standout performance was Sam Rockwell.
As I see hardly any current movies I am not too aware of Rockwell's work but I
thought he was exceptional. I liked the way his character develops from prickly
smartass at the beginning of the film to someone far more humane.
He reminds me so much of Kevin Costner.

John, thank you so much for the additional feedback. With your encouragement I'm going to have to put this on my list to try, especially as I've been enjoying getting to know Eastwood's work better both in front of and behind the camera.

Any actor who's reminiscent of Kevin Costner sounds like someone I should watch. :)

Thanks again!

Best wishes,
Laura
