Pluto's Pumpkin Pursuit at Downtown Disney

Yesterday was a beautiful fall day here in Southern California...

...so we headed to Downtown Disney in Anaheim for lunch and Pluto's Pumpkin Pursuit.

Above and below, some scenes capturing the autumn vibe in Downtown Disney yesterday.

We enjoyed lunch at Black Tap Burgers...

...and then picked up our Pumpkin Pursuit sticker card.

The pumpkin hunt worked along the same principles as the Easter Egg Hunt which has taken place inside the parks over the last few years.

Participants walk the area searching for Disney-style pumpkins, which are most often located up high where they're easy to see and can't be disturbed. As each unique pumpkin is found, the matching sticker goes on the card.

Basically it's a fun excuse to get some exercise walking a couple miles or so...

...at the end of which there's a nice prize. This official Disney photo shows the four Halloween tumblers participants can choose from:

They're all cute, but given my love for Chip and Dale, my choice was easy! Below is the reverse side of the tumbler seen above on the far right, along with the completed sticker card.

Pluto's Pumpkin Pursuit takes place in Downtown Disney though Halloween.

Coming soon, photo posts on last week's first-time visit to Avengers Campus in Disney California Adventure, and last Friday night's Halloween Time return to Disneyland, our first visit in 19 months.
