The Real Thing: Diet Coke's Silver Anniversary

Yes, I admit it. I'm one of the legions of Americans addicted to Diet Coke.

I still vividly recall my very first Diet Coke. Disneyland had a party for cast members to celebrate the opening of New Fantasyland in 1983. I disliked regular "Classic" Coke and always avoided it, but they were handing out free soft drinks at the Village Haus so I tried the Diet Coke, and I've loved it ever since.
