The Return of the Fairness Doctrine?

The American Spectator rumored today that Nancy Pelosi and Co. will be pushing hard for the return of the so-called "Fairness Doctrine" in coming months.

Dean Barnett reports that Pelosi's spokesman has denied the story, but I don't think many of us are buying it. The Democrats would far rather attempt to shut down conservative talk radio than attempt to deal with the "marketplace of ideas."
