Happy Canada Day

Our family has some Canadian heritage, as my husband's father was born in Nova Scotia. He became an American citizen after serving in the U.S. Army during WWII.

According to Wikipedia, when July 1st falls on a Sunday, the official holiday observance is on Monday, though events may be spread over both the 1st and 2nd in those years. So this year Canadians have a two-day holiday.
