"What About Larry?"

David Bernstein of George Mason University Law School, on the UC Regents rescinding the speaking invitation of former Harvard President Larry Summers: "Apparently his sins against feminist orthodoxy were so grave that he's still not welcome to give so much as a dinner speech to the UC Board of Regents more than two years later."

This is just one of many reasons why academia is in dire straits. Apparently it's ok for universities to invite major abusers of human rights and dictators to share their anit-American views with students, but not OK for another University to invite a former University President to speak who has committed crimes against liberal culture and tenants.
Yep, that sounds about right.
It's one reason of many I left the University where I was at. Politics made life unbareable for me, someone who wouldn't tow the party line. Strangely enough they were upset that I was more interested in teaching than research. Hmmm...

Feminist orthodoxy has done more to cripple women than anything else in the past 30 years (next to the descpicalbe R v W). Its aggravating that they still resort to stereotypical behavior attributed to women who want their own way - throw a hissy fit until the opposition can't stand the sound of endless whining.

Why must the continue to give men such power over them? Because that is again what the feminist orthodoxy has done. They are an embarrassment to all women.
