A Blessed All Saints Sunday

All Saints Sunday is one of my favorite days on the church calendar.

I especially love the hymns we sing for All Saints Day, which usually include For All the Saints (subject link) and I Sing a Song of the Saints of God. The little children process into church carrying banners they've made which tell the stories of famous members of the Christian family. Never fails to move me. :)

Happy Sunday to all.

Thanks for the song link. I hadn't heard that one before.

Hope you enjoy!

Incidentally, I SING A SONG OF THE SAINTS OF GOD has an alternate verse than what is at the link, which has wording which is "British":

You can meet them in school, or
In lanes, or at sea,
In church, or in trains, or in shops, or at tea,
For the saints of God are just folk like me,
And I mean to be one too.

We sing the "British" version, which I love -- it simply gives me a smile thinking of meeting other Christians "at tea."

Best wishes,
Laura
