Obama: "America Is No Longer What It Once Was"

Senator Barack Obama told a seven-year-old girl, who asked why he wants to be President, "America is …, uh, is no longer, uh … what it could be, what it once was. And I say to myself, I don’t want that future for my children."

Love the potential President of the United States talking down our country to a young child.

The more we hear -- Michelle Obama saying this is a "mean" country comes to mind -- the more we get the impression that Senator and Mrs. Obama sure don't think very much of our nation.

What a contrast with someone like President Reagan, who spoke so inspirationally of our nation's greatness.

Leaders should inspire to greatness, not desparage to weakness. Would he and other libs heed the advice of Thumper's mother!
One of my areas of emphasis in scholarship is Presidential History. This guy doesn't have what so many others did, to lead. He interprets the role as that of a socialist micromanager, not a leader who teaches, verbalizes, inspires and protects the American dream and American people.

Obama is not a leader, he is a fault finder and a finger pointer...we cannot afford to have someone of this low caliber in the White House.
