New Book: Nigella Christmas: Food, Family, Friends, Festivities
Nigella Lawson joins the parade of new fall cookbooks. Her latest book, NIGELLA CHRISTMAS: FOOD, FAMILY, FRIENDS, FESTIVITIES, comes out November 11th.My favorite Lawson cookbook, FEAST, is also holiday centered. My family loves her recipe for Sticky Garlic Potatoes.
Lawson's books usually have exceptionally good photographs, along with her droll sense of humor and a British touch which makes the books just a bit different from American cookbooks.

December 8 Update: As far as I can tell, the U.S. release of the book has been delayed. It's not available from Amazon or Barnes & Noble and I didn't see it last week in a bricks and mortar B&N. One online discussion site rumored the book won't be released in the U.S. until Fall 2009.
If you can't wait, the book is available now from Amazon.UK and Amazon.Canada.

I've been tivoing Nigellas show and love her recipes. This looks like a winner.

p.s. I'll have to tell my son Jack about the Yosemite rockslide. He worked there last summer and did lots of mountain climbing.
How interesting about your son working there last summer, Holley? If he was there at the end of July we were there at the same time. :) There had been another rock slide at some point before we came; some cabins were surrounded by yellow tape as they were thought to be at continued risk of a slide.
