Today at Disneyland

Our oldest daughter spent some time at Disneyland tonight...here's one of her beautiful photos of Sleeping Beauty Castle decorated for Christmas (click to enlarge):

Those are the lights of the Carrousel showing across the castle drawbridge.

We're having some rainstorms here this week but we hope to visit again later this week.

We went on Monday on a sort of wet day and the fireworks went off. Beautiful, and light crowds. Then we went again yesterday in the pouring rain and wind! As we were leaving the park around 5 PM they were announcing that the park would be closing at 9 PM instead of 11 PM. We went because Jennifer wanted to apply to work there but ... they are not hiring now. In January and there is a waiting list!

My daughter said everything was almost a walk-on on Tuesday afternoon. I wonder if the economy is starting to affect park attendance, or if it was the cold weather.

Very interesting info about both the early closing and the hiring info --

Best wishes,
Laura
