Walt Disney Museum Coming to San Francisco's Presidio

The Walt Disney Family Museum will open this October at the Presidio in San Francisco.

The Presidio grounds also house Industrial Light and Magic and other companies owned by George Lucas.

Diane Disney Miller says the Presidio was chosen because Disney family members live in Northern California. The museum will be spread over three of the Presidio's historic buildings.

We've been wanting to show our children some of the beautiful sights in San Francisco and revisit the Monterey Aquarium for the first time in many years. We now have an extra-good reason to try to schedule a trip...perhaps in 2010?
