Coming to DVD: Esther Williams, Vol. 2

Warner Home Video has finally announced the release date for the long-promised ESTHER WILLIAMS VOL. 2 set in their TCM Spotlight series.

The set will be released on October 6th, 2009.

This is especially welcome news given the near-complete absence of new release announcements since the advent of the Warner Archive program; there are just a couple of exceptions, such as WAGON MASTER.

The titles in the Esther Williams set are: THRILL OF A ROMANCE, FIESTA, THIS TIME FOR KEEPS, PAGAN LOVE SONG, MILLION DOLLAR MERMAID, and EASY TO LOVE.

Extras include trailers, shorts, cartoons, outtakes, and a radio show.
