Today at Disneyland: Last Days of Summer

We started our Labor Day Weekend with a quick visit to Disneyland this afternoon. It still feels like summer -- especially with our high temps -- but the leisurely vacation days are dwindling down to a precious few.

The flowers are more muted now...and no hanging baskets of flowers at the hub. These were found near the Main Street Cone Shop.

Halloween merchandise has started creeping into the stores...

Here's Halloween Mickey and Minnie in the Emporium:

The Market House always has beautiful seasonal displays. Has it really been two months since the window had red, white and blue decorating?

Here's a display in the hall behind the Fortuosity shop:

Chip and Dale make merry on a summer evening, with Carnation Plaza Gardens in the background:

Walt and Mickey seem to be saying goodbye to summer...

Already time to think about Halloween Time!?

Farewell to summer at Disneyland, 2009.

Happy Labor Day Weekend, everyone!

Very nice. I was there yesterday and it wasn't very crowded at all, probably because it was very hot and humid. I spent most of the afternoon in the air conditioned Golden Horseshoe. Did you see the nice Fall display in front of the Frontierland Mercantile? I wish we had the cool Fall weather to go along with all the decorations :)

Hi Irene! So glad you got out there too. We only had time in our schedule to stop in for a couple hours...I'll be sure to check out the Frontierland display next time we're there!

Happy vacation weekend!
Laura
