Coming to DVD: Stagecoach (1939)

STAGECOACH has been released on DVD previously, most notably in a 2006 two-disc edition with a commentary by Ford biographer Scott Eyman. That DVD set also included the AMERICAN MASTERS documentary JOHN FORD/JOHN WAYNE (2006).
The STAGECOACH print still needed some work, and this newly restored Criterion edition is expected to be the finest copy of the film released to date.
All-new extras will include a commentary by Western movie historian Jim Kitses, a 1917 silent Ford film, new interviews, and a 1949 radio adaptation.
This impressive set sounds like a must-buy for Ford and Wayne fans.
