Movie Cowboy Postage Stamps

Beautiful new postage stamps of movie cowboys were released yesterday in a ceremony at the National Cowboy and Western Heritage Museum in Oklahoma City.

The 44-cent stamps honor Roy Rogers, Gene Autry, Tom Mix, and William S. Hart.

The cowboys' likenesses are also featured on 28-cent postcards.

I'll be stocking up on these stamps in the near future!

How cute. Classic-film-tv blog is having a poll on "Who would you hire to clean up a rowdy Western town?"

I left a comment "What about Randolph Scott?" I'd love a Randolph Scott stamp. I'll get some of these, but I'm still using up my stockpile of Reagan stamps.

I'm also still using some 37 cent Cary Grant stamps. :)

Best wishes,
