Fox Films on DVD

Susan King had interesting news in today's Los Angeles Times about Twilight Time, a new DVD label which will release films from 20th Century Fox.

One title per month will be released in a limited edition of 3000 copies. The first five titles are all from the '50s and '60s; they will include THE EGYPTIAN (1955), with Jean Simmons and Victor Mature, and APRIL LOVE (1957), with Pat Boone and Shirley Jones. The latter film has been on my wish list for some time, as it's a remake of a favorite Jeanne Crain film, HOME IN INDIANA (1944).

Each film will come with an eight-page booklet containing information about the movie.

The titles will be sold exclusively at Screen Archives.
