Today at Disney California Adventure: Viva Navidad!

One of our family traditions is to spend part of Thanksgiving Eve at the Disneyland Resort, and this year was no exception.

Buena Vista Street in California Adventure is as beautiful at Christmas as Disneyland's Main Street:

We had a nice chat with a Cast Member who told us the new decorations in the Hollywood Land area were inspired by old photographs of Hollywood Boulevard:

More in Hollywood Land:

The crowds were out in force enjoying the creatively decorated Cars Land:

San Francisco Street is decked out as well:

The Viva Navidad! street party was as wonderful as we'd heard -- pure Disney Christmas joy. I particularly loved the inclusion of the Three Caballeros. I hope this becomes an annual part of celebrating the holidays at Disneyland!

Previous Thanksgiving Eve at Disneyland Posts: 2009, 2010, 2011, and 2012.

Laura,
After comparing the Candlelight Processional photo to one in the book "Disneyland: The First Quarter Century," I I confident that this is the year that Cary Grant narrated. He was soooo dreamy! Wonderful memories.
