Saturday Night in Huntington Beach
It was a gorgeous day here in Southern California, so we decided to spend a bit of our Labor Day weekend enjoying the shops and scenery in Huntington Beach, California.
We dropped in to eat dinner at 25 Degrees, a chain TCM Festival goers know well; there's a 25 Degrees located off the lobby of the Hollywood Roosevelt Hotel.
After dinner we did a bit of window shopping and took a stroll to the end of the pier and back.
Lots of Pokemon Go players on the pier, as it's a great place to catch water Pokemon!
There's still a Ruby's Diner at the end of the Huntington Beach Pier. Sadly the one on the Seal Beach Pier, which had been closed for some time, burned down last spring.
The view looking back toward the shore:
Some fun movie and TV related trivia: MAVERICK star Jack Kelly was a longtime Huntington Beach city council member who was twice elected Mayor.
Happy Labor Day weekend, everyone!
