Today at Disneyland: Labor Day Weekend 2016

Most years our Labor Day weekend begins with a Friday afternoon visit to Disneyland, and this year was no exception!

The late summer flowers at Town Square seem to hint that fall will soon be here.

More lovely flowers, this time as seen at the Hub in the center of Disneyland.

I resisted temptation but enjoyed the looks of these colorful cupcakes...

...while this Tigger-inspired dessert found in Critter Country is a reminder that Halloween Time will soon be here.

After this holiday weekend the blue and white Diamond Anniversary bunting finally comes down, to be replaced by the annual Halloween decorations.

This year I'll be attending Mickey's Halloween Party for the first time, in mid-October. It's a separately ticketed event which includes a special new parade plus a Halloween fireworks show. It's our oldest daughter's birthday gift this year so it will be doubly fun!

Please also visit past Disneyland Labor Day weekend photo posts: 2014, 2013, 2011, 2009, and 2007.

Have a great holiday weekend!
