Coming Soon!
After three long years, it's time for the TCM Classic Film Festival!
I'll be in Hollywood through this Sunday covering the return of the festival to an "in person" format for the first time since the 10th anniversary festival in 2019.
The festival runs from Thursday, April 21st, through Sunday, April 24th.
My tentative movie viewing plans for the festival may be found here.
Please follow me on Twitter for "real time" updates, and I also recommend checking out the Twitter hashtag #TCMFF to see everyone's Tweets on the event.
My in-depth coverage should begin here at the blog early next week.
In addition to extensive coverage of the TCM Classic Film Festival, there's much more ahead in the coming weeks, including:*Additional coverage of last weekend's Noir City Film Festival.
*A preview of the schedule for next month's Arthur Lyons Film Noir Festival, which will take place in Palm Springs from May 12th to 15th, with a special concert performance by Victoria Mature on May 11th.
*Photo posts on visits to Inglewood Park Cemetery, Mt. Sinai Memorial Park, and Forest Lawn Hollywood Hills.
*Photo posts on visits to classic L.A. area restaurants Pann's and Bob's Big Boy, plus the upcoming Star Wars Nite at Disneyland.
*May TCM highlights.
*Coming next month, coverage of both the Arthur Lyons Film Noir Festival and the UCLA Festival of Preservation.*Over at Classic Movie Hub, my next column will focus on AMBUSH AT CIMARRON PASS (1958) starring Scott Brady, Margia Dean, and Clint Eastwood.
*And as always, more Blu-ray, DVD, and book reviews.
Thanks for reading!
