The 2022 Lone Pine Film Festival Parade

While I was away at this year's Lone Pine Film Festival I posted photos of the festival's 2021 Parade.

Here, much more promptly, are the photos of the 2022 Parade, featuring many of the same people.

My husband was at the parade staging area at Lone Pine High School and snapped a few photos. Here's Bruce Boxleitner. Bruce rode in a car last year but decided to participate in this year's parade on horseback.

A great shot of William Wellman Jr. Click on any photo to enlarge it for a closer look.

Stuntman Diamond Farnsworth, the son of actor-stuntman Richard Farnsworth:

I was a couple blocks down Main Street snapping photos from in front of the Dow Hotel. Parade Grand Marshal Patrick Wayne waved at the crowds as he drove by:

Here's Bruce Boxleitner in the parade:

Here's Darby Hinton of TV's DANIEL BOONE, and I believe that's Robert Carradine behind him:

Lisa McCrea waving at me while Wyatt McCrea, in the front seat, grabs candy to toss out the window to the kids along the street:

And a nice shot of Wyatt:

Jay C. Munns playing ragtime piano music while in the parade:

Rod Cameron's son Tony in the back of the pickup:

Bill Wellman Jr. passing by in the parade:

Actor Rudy Ramos, fondly remembered from THE HIGH CHAPARRAL:

And finally, John "Hopalong Cassidy" Gilliland:

The parade is quintessential smalltown fun which also features emergency vehicles and local civic groups, and it's something which gives a unique touch to this film festival.
