Janis Paige Dies at 101

Sad news today: Singer-Actress Janis Paige has passed away at the age of 101.

Paige was born in Tacoma, Washington, on September 16, 2022. She died on June 2nd in Los Angeles.

Paige was special to me for a number of reasons, including her role in a favorite lesser-known film, WALLFLOWER (1948), and her performance on the original Broadway cast album of THE PAJAMA GAME.
