Six-Year Bloggiversary!
Laura's Miscellaneous Musings first went "live" on Saturday, July 16, 2005, and here it is Saturday, July 16th, again -- six years later! It hardly seems possible, and what a wonderful six years it's been.
The past blogging year has been especially enjoyable, as I've had the opportunity to see many more classic films in theaters and share those experiences with readers here.
I continue to be so appreciative of all the terrific people out there on the Internet, whether they're fellow members of the classic film blogging community or regular visitors who stop by this blog to read or share their comments. I'm very thankful for each and every one of you!

Happy bloggiversary, Laura! I seem to remember that your daughter started the blog for you while waiting for the delivery of one of the Harry Potter books - how fitting this anniversary comes at the end of the chapter, so to speak, with the last movie premiering this weekend...

Jill, you have such a good memory! My daughter and I were just discussing howlast night they went to see the last HARRY POTTER film, and now nicely that ties in with her having helped me set up this blog while she was anxiously awaiting delivery of one of the POTTER books six years ago today!

Congratulations! Thanks for finding me ___ years ago when I blogged about the pirate ship in San Pedro. Even though I've abandoned my blog I read yours every day.
