Latest TCM Classic Film Festival News

Hard to believe it's been a month since the last TCM Classic Film Festival announcements!

TCM has just shared additional information about the 2024 festival.

The opening night red carpet film will be a 30th anniversary screening of Quentin Tarantino's PULP FICTION (1994) with star John Travolta in attendance.

For me the most exciting news is that Robert Osborne Award winner Jeanine Basinger has chosen to screen William Wellman's WESTWARD THE WOMEN (1951) as part of her ceremony. It's one of my favorite movies, so I'm thrilled by her choice and definitely hope to be there!

Billy Dee Williams will introduce his films LADY SINGS THE BLUES (1972) and THE BINGO LONG TRAVELING ALL-STARS & MOTOR KINGS (1976), while Oscar-winning makeup artist Lois Burwell will be present at her movies ALMOST FAMOUS (2000 and LINCOLN (2012).

Williams and Burwell will also each take part in an interview in Club TCM at the Hollywood Roosevelt Hotel.
