John Kerry Disses the Troops
John Kerry was campaigning in California today and was caught on tape saying, in so many words, that those serving in the U.S. military are uneducated, stupid rubes.
Kerry's statement at Pasadena City College: "You know, education, if you make the most of it, if you study hard and do your homework, and you make an effort to be smart, uh, you can do well. If you don't, you get stuck in Iraq."

Hmm...If I remember the talking points correctly from previous election years...The draft was responsible for taking the "best and the brightest" during Vietnam. And going into Afghanistan and Iraq was racist because so many of our service personnel are minorities as they have no other chance to make it in life. Perhaps in Senator Kerry's view, it's because they are too dumb? Too dumb to figure out how to get out of it, too dumb to get a non-combat position or too dumb to realize that they are fools (in his eyes)for fighting for freedom. Hmm...
