Jeopardy! Comes to USC

This year JEOPARDY! is filming its College Championship at USC.

Yesterday my daughter passed the initial 10-question screening test, given on McCarthy Quad, and was invited back for today's 50-question test. For her trouble yesterday she received a JEOPARDY! keychain and a ticket for the filming at the university's Galen Center on April 21st.

She said today's test was super-hard, even for someone with a broad base of trivia knowledge -- one of the questions was about the capital of Mongolia! -- and only about 10 students (all guys) were invited to go on to a mock game tryout. She really enjoyed participating in the process as far as it went, though, and seeing what it was like.

Never a dull moment at USC. :)
