The Countdown to High School Musical 2
A remarkable statistic: "Movies generally lose much of their audience in just the first rerun on TV, but HSM's 21st showing on the Disney Channel in July was still a top cable draw with 5.8 million viewers — 75% of the premiere's audience. It was the most-watched basic cable movie of the month."I have a 12-year-old daughter who is literally crossing the days off the calendar until next Friday...I don't know whether she's more excited about HSM2 or seeing WICKED in Los Angeles with her big sister later this month. :)
The HSM2 soundtrack CD will be released on Tuesday, August 14th, three days in advance of the first TV airing.

It's not in the budget yet for the rest of us to see it, but I'm sure I will some time in future. By now I know the music by heart -- not only from the CD, but the girls have the piano music, too. :)
They just have one more week to go!
