MARTHA STEWART'S COOKIES is a beautiful new softcover cookbook filled with gorgeous photos and tempting recipes.

I couldn't resist picking up the book when I saw it at a great price at Costco today. With four children, who also have friends visit, recipes for homemade cookies are a Good Thing.

One of the best-looking recipes is Chewy Chocolate Gingerbread Cookies, shown on the cover.

Gingersnap Palmiers, Chocolate Crackles, Grammy's Chocolate Cookies, Citrus Cornmeal Shortbread, Lemon Madeleines, and Chocolate Ginger Brownies are just a few of the appealing recipes.
