I'm not very big into the Summer Olympics -- I'm more of a Winter Olympics fan, plus I'm not wild about the China angle -- but you really have to watch the video of the United States' come-from-behind victory in the 4x100m freestyle swimming relay.
The last lap was thrilling...all the more so as apparently the French captain had boasted their team would be "smashing" the U.S.

My daughter and I were up late watching the Olympics last night and saw this. That was one of the most exciting things I've seen in a long time!
I wasn't going to stay up late again - but I couldn't resist watching Michael Phelps race again. It was a thriller right to the last arm stroke!

I'm with Irene and Ms. Daisy. What a spectacle! Those young men were wonderful and first class all the way. Despite the Frenchies talking smack... our young men remained professional... made it that much more sweet.
