Actress Anita Page Dies at 98

Anita Page, who starred in THE BROADWAY MELODY (1929), the first-ever winner of the Academy Award for Best Picture, has passed away at the age of 98.

I don't think I've seen any of Page's films yet, but a few months ago I taped the series of films she did with Joan Crawford, OUR DANCING DAUGHTERS, OUR MODERN MAIDENS, and OUR BLUSHING BRIDES. I'm looking forward to watching them for the first time.
