Top 10 Ways Sarah Palin Has Shaken Up the Race

A good summary by Jennifer Rubin for Pajamas Media.

Also worth reading: Game Changer by Jessica Gavora (Mrs. Jonah Goldberg) for the Weekly Standard.

The polls are looking good for the Republican ticket right now; meanwhile the Obama campaign keeps playing the race card and making silly, whiny remarks.

We've got two months to go, but I suspect that Senator Obama has to a certain extent worn out his welcome, and the results on Election Day will bear that out.

Hi Laura,
I have this terrible feeling that keeps nagging at me. It says that Obama is playing possum right now and the media is backing off on it's saturating coverage of him to prevent a backlash. Kind of the same thing McCain did over the summer. McCain/Palin has got to peak at just the right moment and I feel like the press is setting up Obama to be peaking in late fall.

We'll have to cross our fingers, Holley! It's so unpredictable. I'm hoping that Obama has been so overexposed over the last 19 months that McCain/Palin can't hit a peak too early in the last 2 months. :)

Best wishes,
Laura
