Coming in 2010: National Park Quarters

Next year the U.S. Mint will begin releasing a new series of quarters focusing on national parks.

Five coins will be released each year through 2021. USA Today has the list. (Click the title of this post.) Yellowstone, Yosemite, and the Grand Canyon are among the parks which will be featured on next year's coins.

My children have each collected all the "state" quarters in small books designed for that purpose. It's been a lot of fun. I'm looking forward to the new series.
