Coming to DVD: Columbia Pictures Film Noir Classics Vol. I

There's a very interesting film noir set coming out on November 3rd: the Columbia Pictures Film Noir Classics, Vol. 1.

The five titles included are THE SNIPER, THE BIG HEAT, THE LINEUP, MURDER BY CONTRACT, and 5 AGAINST THE HOUSE.

The set has some excellent extras, with two commentary tracks by film noir expert Eddie Muller. Martin Scorsese and Michael Mann also contribute to the set.

A future Volume 2 is scheduled to include CITY OF FEAR.
