Leslie Caron Honored with Hollywood Star

Missy passed along the news that legendary dancer-actress Leslie Caron will be honored with a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame next week.

The ceremony will be held on December 8th. Caron's star is No. 2,394 on the Walk of Fame.

In a wonderful touch, Caron's star will be placed between the stars of Gene Kelly and Louis Jourdan. Kelly, of course, discovered Caron and cast her in the Oscar-winning AN AMERICAN IN PARIS (1951), while Jourdan was her costar in another multi-Oscar winner, GIGI (1958).
