New on DVD: New York Confidential (1955)

The film noir NEW YORK CONFIDENTIAL (1955), starring Broderick Crawford, Richard Conte, and Marilyn Maxwell, was released on DVD on June 29, 2010.

The movie also stars Anne Bancroft, J. Carrol Naish, Barry Kelley, and Mike Mazurki. It was directed by Russell Rouse.

This VCI release features a restored print with several extras, including a commentary track by Alan K. Rode and Kim Morgan. The trailer, stills and lobby cards, and a restoration demo are also included.
